Well, that kitten died. My mother has me keep the two kittens outside and sometime last night or today the white and yellow kitten took off, probably trying to go back home.

It was so little, and it made it so far. But I spotted it while taking my friend, Devon, home. We pulled over, because I just saw the bundle of fur, and it was on the side of the road, mangled and dead. The flies had already gotten to her, and she probably had maggot eggs in her, too.

She was quieter than the dark haired little boy, and she was shy. I didn't play with her as much, because she never really seemed to like it.

And now she is dead and alone, having been trying to find her way home as nothing more than a tiny baby. Now that sweet, lonely, home-sick baby is dead and contorted. She was so little... just trying to go home...

I've already cried plenty... tomorrow Devon is going to help me scoop her up and bury her.
